Helsby’s Alehouse are all fired up to kick off their monthly Brewery Showcase evening's at Helsby's. This is what they have to say about the event:
This month's special guests will be the team from Helios Brewing. We've been mighty impressed with what has flowed through our taps so far. If you haven't encountered their beers as yet, here's your chance to sample their wares. We'll be joined by Team Helios and our good friend BeerMatt for a relaxed evening of Good Beer, Good Chat & Good Company. Tickets are $40 and include four sample beers and food. Tickets are limited, to secure your place, contact us on functions@pineapplehotel.com.au Cheers!

We are really excited to be involved with a few of the big names in QLD brewing! Brisbane Brewhouse had the following to say about the event:
It's the first Sniff & Sip session of 2018 and we've planned you a doozy! We've teamed up with Helios Brewing Company, Black Hops Brewing, Newstead Brewing Co. & Brisbane Brewing Co. to showcase the best new Autumn releases SE Queensland has to offer.
With a seasonal beer from each brewery plus an amazing 4-way collab brew it's sure to be a great night for Queensland beer. Add in four delicious courses from Brewhouse head chef Andrew McCabe and you have a evening that can't be missed!

Brewery Showcase at The Scratch Bar, Milton from 6pm.
The team at Scratch will be putting on 5 of our beers on tap, and we will also be there to meet any of you who want to know about us and our beers.

Show us Yours!
Our second "Show us Yours" event will be held at Helios on a Thursday 31st May.
It is a night for Home Brewers night to show off your home brewed master pieces for this months style which is IPAs.
Simply bring along your finest IPA, leave any notes and also your contact details. Head Brewer Charlie will judge then against BA style guidelines and send you feedback.
Cost is free to participate, we've got some cracking beers on here for you to have a look at and I'll be a fairly open book on any questions you might have plus will run brewery tours for anyone interested.
The first event was a great success with lots of people taking advantage of Charlies brewing experience and knowledge.

THE HELIOS BEERS
The brewery uses a theme of Gods and Monsters from Greek mythology. Our current beers include the Midas' Golden Ale, Poseidon Pale Ale, The Goddess Ravishing Red Rye, Hades' Bitter Chocolate Stout, Hestia New World Lager and the Medusa Black IPA.
Soon to be brewed beers include: Athena Scotch Ale and Zeus' Double IPA.
THE HELIOS BREWERY
Our system has been custom built to fit our brand new warehouse in Yeerongpilly, on the Southside of Brisbane. We are solar powered and have a solar thermal water heating system.
