It's taken awhile, but Helios Brewing has made it into the GABS Festival Hottest 100! Our super popular Dionysus Oat Cream DIPA made it to #85 in the countdown that took place on January 27th.
"We are so very excited and humbled to have broken into the top 100.." says Scott, the owner of Helios Brewing.
With huge amounts of budget thrown at making the list by breweries of all sizes around Australia, it's safe to say the Helios team are proud of our efforts, given the shoe string budget we had access too. But the ultimate factor in making the list, according to Scott?
"...We have amazing patrons and fans, and (they) all got us across the line".
The fans, combined with the exceptional brewing skills of head brewer Jake, and a highly targeted (but small) marketing campaign, saw the plan come together to crack the 100. A task that simply looked impossible in years gone by.
After the sure fire success of the limited batch of Dionysus Oat Cream DIPA, it seems like a rebrew might be on the cards...stay tuned!
