A nod to our beloved neighbours across the ditch, Anthus celebrates the modern IPA style with a showcase of fresh New Zealand hops - Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Nectaron. Sunspot - Hoppy Red Lager

A collab beer with Spotty Dog in Tasmania. It’s a style that doesn’t really exist, a hoppy red lager, but it’s a great fit for the gathering dark and oncoming clouds, nights drawing in and fires being lit. The deep mahogany makes you think of warmth and comfort, the creamy tan head is like a well worn couch, the light spice notes from the hints of rye and the Southern Cross have been accentuated by a long decoction step in the mash tun (yes, of course we did a decoction) lending complexity to the rich, toasted caramel on the palate and the lingering embrace of the mandarin marmalade bitterness. Settle in.
Kronos ‘24 - Imperial Stout - 11%

Kronos '24 is here, and not messing about. With assertive roast character, Kronos exhibits notes of ash, coffee and dark chocolate and is supported by complex toasted caramel, fig and sweet toffee characters. Depth Perception - Chocolate Chip Blueberry Banana Maple Pancake Pastry Stout - 7%

We love pancakes. They’re yum! We love them even more when we add chocolate, banana, blueberry and maple syrup. Extra yum! Sometimes we like to turn our favourite pancakes into a stout and add lactose because it’s cool to do that and oh so yum! You’re welcome!
Splat Hazy IPA - 6.0%

Sometimes you need to throw an 'idea' against the wall and see if it sticks! Splat Hazy IPA embodies this attitude with a collision of old and new world approaches to create Helios & Spotty Dog's second collab beer of 2024. A typical Belgian Wit base was charged with Bitter Orange, zesty Motueka and Eclipse hops, and literal bucket loads of blood orange juice. The resulting Splat Hazy IPA may blur stylistic lines but rest assured it's a one-way ticket to juice town!
Zeus DIPA - 2024 - 9.5%

Zeus Double IPA returns and its bigger than ever before. A god among gods, Zeus doesn’t hold any punches and delivers electrifying old school IPA flavours thanks to a characterful malt base and massive additions of Chinook, Columbus and Centennial hops. One for the hop heads, it’s big, bold and unapologetically assertive.
To Be Continued - Continuously Hopped DIPA - 8.0%

Continuously hopped during boil for 90 mins with gluttonous whirlpool additions and double dry hopped, To Be Continued is a brash West Coast DIPA that delivers in spades. The original recipe was developed by Leon Stanley and subsequently won the 2023 Helios Hopetition home brew competition. The beer was too damn good and we decided to scale it up, and get Leon back to rebrew it on the big kit for you to enjoy!

Dark Mild - Classic Series - 3.0%

The humble Dark Mild is often overlooked amongst modern craft beer consumers. Whether it's the name or its humble origins as a sessionable English ale, this style demands more attention. To us, the Dark Mild is a truly legendary style that exudes incredible depth and complexity of flavour whilst remaining supremely sessionable. Rich notes of hazelnut and chocolate are complemented by a medium-full body and smooth finish. At only 0.9 standard drinks per can this is a supreme fridge filler for the winter months.

Ultimate refreshment after a hard days work in the fields.

This mighty Imperial Stout fires on all cylinders with rich notes of roasted dark chocolate, toffee, warming whiskey, dried dark fruits, vanilla and toasted oak. Immensely complex and seductive. A serious beer equally suited to savouring fresh or extended cellaring.

Athena Scotch Ale - 4.8%

To Peat or not to Peat, that is the question!? We like to draw on the age old characters peat smoked malt can bring to a beer. Our Scotch Ale is in the Export Scottish ale style and brings sweet malts to the palate, smoked caramel aromas to the nose and is bittered for balance. A beer for any season but particularly delightful in the cooler months.
Perseus White IPA - 7%

Slight banana esters sit around the edges of this beer, leading to fresh tropical hints of pineapple, passionfruit and a touch of mint. The palate has a deceptively soft mouthfeel due to the abundance of wheat in the grist, followed by a hop forward tropical and citrus punch, courtesy of Double Dry hopping. Finishes clean with a lingering bitterness.

Orange Citrus, Mango, Lychee and Grapefruit to name just a few.
Dionysus 2022 NEIIPA - 7.5%

Dionysus has been gently evolving since his coming onboard in 2018. This year will see his most noticeable change by softening further, bitterness arriving later and landing softer, with a sweeter, fuller front palate. Dry hopping has lifted modern rates with Citra, Galaxy and Mosaic playing bigger roles than ever before.
St Arnold Dry-Hopped Tripel - 8.5%

St Arnold is a collaboration with our good mates at Madocke Brewing Company. When dry-hopping a Tripel, we wanted to make sure we didn’t turn it into a Frankensteined mash-up. We wanted to embrace modern dry-hopping techniques while giving the nod to Belgian tradition and culture. We wanted the Sorachi Ace, Mandarina Bavaria and Montueka hops to compliment and support the Tripel, not go into battle with it. We think we’ve nailed it.
Mulberry and Lemon Myrtle Sour Ale - 3.8%

This Mulberry and Lemon Myrtle Sour is tailor made for sipping on those hot summer days. This tart little number pours deep magenta and is bursting with notes of sweet mulberry and complex lemony eucalyptus notes thanks to generous addition of freshly harvested Lemon Myrtle. These flavours unite to create a unique yet sessionable sour with balanced acidity and unique complexity. A fun beer to celebrate our 5th birthday shenanigans.
'Classic Series' German Pilsner - 4.5%

Pilsners are a timeless classic style crafted for crisp refreshment and sessionability. It's hard to beat a crispy, hop forward Pilsner on a stinking hot day, or any day for that matter! There's a reason these beers have for decades infiltrated all facets of the global beer market. It's because they rock! Our take on this classic style is a crisp, clean, bitter German Pilsner utilising all German malts and hops to keep things traditional. At 4.5% we've leaned into the lower end of the ABV spectrum for style to maximise sessionability whilst retaining firm bitterness, and prominent herbal and spicy hop aromas with a dry finish. Good beer made for good times.
